If I miss a lot of short puts in a round the first thing I do is run this drill. I take a bottle of water and put it front of the hole or actually in the hole. This relieves the pressure of trying to fit the ball into something. It gives you something more tangible to aim at. Check out the video below:

This video is also a part of my iPhone App Golfplan. Golfplan has over 60 videos in like the one you just watched. It brings purpose to your golfing practice by allowing you to focus on the areas of your game that need it the most. Check it out on the iTunes store to learn more: Golfplan with Paul Azinger

    1. Hello Paul,

You were talking with Nick Faldo on TV about
creating more club hand speed and I think you
said get a longer shaft for your driver is that
correct. I have asked a couple of teaching pro’s
and they don’t agree but I would think a touring
pro like your self would know more about it.

      Thanks,

      Howard

    2. Hi Paul sorry, I have no other way to contact you. I play at Majors in Palm Bay, John Redman teaches here, just thought you should know he is or was in the hospital. Knowing him though, he will probably be OK. I lived in Key West when I went into the golf shop one day years ago and you were behind the counter and just said you were a new employee, everyone still talks of it. Miss you on telecast you have a great golf mind and frankly I am sick of the Euro’s rooting for their guys. Take good care….Steve in Palm Bay……U of H golfer 1970
