Paul:

I followed you at the 1988 PGA in Oklahoma City, the first day you played with Arnold Palmer, after he birdied the 18th hole, you put your arm around him and escorted him off the green, a real show of respect all present will never forget. Always a fan, Brad Pierce, Dallas, Texas

Hi Paul, Ran into you at the Tampa airport getting coffee at Starbucks. Good luck with the Redfish, they are fun. Try it with a flyrod, that's a blast. Congradulations on the 30th, been there! If you and your wife are ever in the seacoast NH, stop by, can recommend where to find the striped bass or good seafood, plenty of golf too. Have not read your book but I guess now I'll have to! TWood

Paul,
I quit high scholl 6months early to pursue a golf dream. I use to hit 1,000s of range balls at Bent Tree where my parents had a house though I came from Ohio. Prior to college I heard of a guy working with John Redman (you). Your name popped up many times and I followed u onto the mini's..space coast etc...Long story short, I gave it up and now 50 here in July eager to get my Senior hat on and play again. Ironically, I've been working with Jimmy Ballard since 1987. I'm not sure where you are in your game, but if you ever need someone who's dug it out of the dirt with Jimmy give me a call (614)796-4151. I'm still in Ohio living in Muirfield and hit balls with the Ballard method to this day. When I saw you on his website, I was surprised to say the least. I hope you still plan on playing competitively especially if you get on track with the golf swing. Jeff

After serving Zinger his favorite sandwich at Gator Creek Golf Club in Sarasota for 20 years, I feel I know him fairly well. He is a special man, always unassuming, never with any airs or expectations, always treating everyone with respect. He was gracious enough to provide me with practice round tickets for The Masters for 6 years in a row and always made a point of stopping to say hello at some point in his round at Augusta. I feel honored to have known Paul and over my 64 years he's one of the best I've had the pleasure of calling a friend!

I read your book Zinger several years ago at the advice of a friend. I read it for a second time this weekend after recently going through my own battle with Lymphoma. For that reason, I really appreciated your book on an even deeper level. Thanks for sharing.

Hello Paul,

Just saw you on the Morning Drive. I always find you very interesting and I love your unbreakable competitive spirit. Between that, your faith and the love of your family I'm sure that was the recipe for your success in beating your cancer. I love the photo of you with your wife and daughters. Trouble is, I am trying to figure out which one is your wife and which ones are your daughters. They are all so beautiful it's hard to tell! You must feel very blessed. My husband Jeff met your briefly back in the 90's at a car dealership in Sarasota. You were kind enough to talk to him and give him your autograph. We lived in Sarasota for 20 years before moving back here to Lynnfield, Massachusetts. Continued success in your life and career and may God continue to richly bless you and your family.

Paul... I wonder if you would mind me asking what kind of cancer you had. My wives doctor told us she has the same kind of cancer that you had and I was wondering if it was the same kind. I guess I am asking because we are looking for any and all hope. Your battle and victory over cancer encourages us.
